How to choose the best pomegranate juice

No time or no wish to make your own juice from fresh pomegranates? We understand. The solution is simple: just go to a good food shop and buy it.

You may, however, come across several options and face a dilemma about which one to choose.

There are many juices on the market made from pomegranates or containing pomegranate. If you want juice that tastes like fresh pomegranate, choose 100% directly pressed juice.

Many products are made from concentrate (in plain terms, watered down) or by mixing pomegranate juice with juices from other fruit. What such drinks usually have in common is a lower price. Unfortunately, this is reflected in a lower share of actual pomegranate juice and a different taste.

And why is ShahNar 100% pomegranate juice exclusive compared with the competition?

• It is cold-pressed directly, not made from concentrate
• Every litre of juice is made by pressing 3 kg of pomegranates
• It is pressed only from pomegranates from our own harvest
• Our orchards lie in one of the best areas in the world for growing pomegranates
• Excellent conditions and plenty of sunshine give the fruit a high natural sugar content and so a sweet taste without any flavourings
• It contains no preservatives or prohibited substances

As growers, we care about sustainability and protecting our environment, which is why we fill our juice into recyclable glass bottles.
