ShahNar is a brand of 100% pomegranate juice and Narsharab sauce. Behind the brand is “Shahnar”, one of the largest pomegranate growers in Azerbaijan, which for more than ten years has worked by the motto “Quality is what sets us apart”.

From our own pomegranate orchards on 60 hectares in the village of Karrar in the Kurdamir region of Azerbaijan. The orchards lie in one of the best areas in the world for growing pomegranates and are tended by highly qualified agronomists.

Each of our processed products meets high quality standards in line with the requirements of ISO 22000, ISO 9001 and FQC certification, and holds the international KOSHER and HALAL certificates.

Yes. The juice is cold-pressed directly, not made from concentrate.

No. The juice has no added sugar and contains no preservatives or prohibited substances of any kind. Its sweet taste comes from the high natural sugar content of the pomegranates, which ripen in excellent conditions with plenty of sunshine.

Yes. ShahNar juice is 100% pomegranate juice. We press it only from pomegranates from our own harvest, without any additives.

Every litre of juice is made by pressing 3 kg of pomegranates.

Yes. The pomegranate juice is ecologically clean and made from natural fruit grown to international standards.

Many products on the market are made from concentrate (in plain terms, watered down) or by mixing pomegranate juice with juices from other fruit. They usually have a lower price, which is unfortunately reflected in a lower concentration and quality of antioxidants and other beneficial substances. ShahNar juice is cold-pressed directly, not made from concentrate.

We sort the pomegranates harvested in our orchards and cold-press them directly – we use 3 kg of fruit for every litre of juice. The juice, without any additives, is stored under professional supervision in aseptic tanks to the relevant international quality standards and then filled into glass bottles.

In recyclable glass bottles of 1 l and 250 ml.

As growers, we care about sustainability and protecting our environment, which is why we fill our juice into recyclable glass bottles.

Once the bottle is opened, you can keep the juice for up to 3 days at 0–6 °C.

Yes. Any sediment is natural and is not a defect.

The packing date and the best-before date are marked on the bottle cap.

Narsharab, a national culinary brand of Azerbaijani cuisine, is a sauce made from pomegranate juice. This thick, dark, ruby-red liquid has a piquant acidity, a light fruity sweetness and a deep, enticing aroma.

Translated from Azerbaijani, “Naršarab” means pomegranate wine. And indeed, the sauce is full of pleasant winey notes and has a unique fruity taste.

Narsharab goes perfectly with meat dishes and fish – its sweet-and-sour taste brings out their flavour. You can use it as a marinade or serve it straight with the finished dish as a seasoning. It is usually used as a seasoning for fish and meat dishes, especially kebabs.

Yes. We sell part of the pomegranates from our orchards as fruit on local and foreign markets. We sort “Minashir” pomegranates by calibre – 75+, 85+, 95+ and 105+ – and pack them in 5 kg boxes. If you are interested in the fruit, please contact us.
